Strategic Development Zone, Adamstown
Adamstown is a planned urban development in the north of South Dublin County Council, which has the aim of delivering over 9,000 residential units with associated transport and community infrastructure. Addreig and Adamstown Boulevard Developments completed as a part of Strategic Development Zone by Quintain/ Evara provided over 600 new residential units. Addreig site has been used stockpile material from a number of surrounding developments over the previous decade. One of the challenges faced was to retain certain suitable volumes of the existing stockpiles on site to be treated with binder to be re-used as structural fill. The final product is a rigid, construction- ready ground.
