Over the period of last decade Shannon Valley in cooperation with Precision Construction undertook 3 no. construction projects of Tesco Superstores in Dundalk, Swords and Liffey Valley and a number of landscaping works for its Distribution Centre located in Donabate. Year 2013 saw a major Dundalk Shopping Centre Redevelopment project whereby the existing Shopping Centre was demolished in 2 phases- Phase 1 in the vacant half of the shopping centre and Phase 2 demolition of the existing Tesco Store. The store continued to trade during work in the Temporary Store. The completion of the new structure commenced in July 2013 and was completed in August 2014. Airside, Swords Tesco Superstore built in 2017 was a second major commercial development whereby Shannon Valley carried out site clearance, cut to fill operations, services infrastructure and internal roads, carpark and landscaping. The company was then contracted to carry out groundworks during the construction of the largest Tesco in Ireland- 60,000 sq. ft. Liffey Valley Superstore. Our works package included site clearance, bulk dig, drainage, attenuation tank, services, internal roads and a carpark area that extended underneath the footprint of the building.
